Lords dip their toe into the Blogosphere…

The eDemocracy team is pleased to announce that we are currently working on an innovative pilot scheme with the House of Lords.

Lords of the Blog is an experimental project to encourage direct dialogue between web users across the world and Members of the House of Lords. Commissioned by the House of Lords, the pilot project is conducted by the eDemocracy team who are working directly with Members of the Lords to bring their blogs to the wider online audience.

We are currently in the developmental phase of this project and continue to recruit and training contributing Members.

The Hansard Society will evaluate all aspects of this pilot and capture data about audiences of the blog in order to assess its reach and value.

We hope to launch the pilot in the near future – watch this space.
